During renovation work on the cave, Brad Cobb, the owner, was working on re-wiring the lighting system with some student volunteers. At one point on the tour path, Cobb was knocked to one side when a portion of the wall collapsed onto one of his legs. One student received a glancing blow on his helmet. Cobb was freed and found to be uninjured.
