In the spring on a Friday evening, some enterprising cavers had a trip to Con Cave, in Westmorland County, Pennsylvania. It was cold and snowy out and everyone wanted to get into the cave. Unfortunately, there is a set of climbdowns just inside, and three of the five in the group were beginners, and needed to be coached down the climbs. One of these (female, about 25) apparently would not wait and went ahead. She fell a short distance but suffered only bruised and refused any aid.
