On April 24, it is reported that a boy (7) was running across a yard when a hole opened beneath his feet in New Jersey. Reportedly his father could not pull him out before he disappeared into the collapse. For awhile there was no voice contact with the victim and the authorities were called in to help. After seven hours of digging the boy was found dead in "an underground cavern formed by tree stumps and other debris eight feet below the surface."
