Bracken Bat Cave

General Information

Bracken Bat Cave is located northeast of San Antonio, west of IH 35 and off of 3009 near Natural Bridge Caverns.  It is home to the largest colony of Mexican Free-tailed bats in North America.  On most Summer evenings, you can see the bats echo on weather radar as they leave the cave.
