Conservation is an important facet of responsible caving. The education of our
members and establishment of a conservation mindset helps protect the caves.
Cave cleanup trips, educational programs and the monitoring of grotto
activities are just a few of the things ETG does to support cave conservation.
ETG also supports various cave related conservation groups.
Adopt-A-Highway Coordinator - Anne Elmore

ETG is a member of the Tennessee Adopt-A-Highway program. ETG is responsible
for the section of highway that runs through Grassy Cove in Cumberland County,
TN. The Grassy cove area has a high density of caves and is a very popular
caving area. Conservation efforts of this type not only help protect caves but
also promote good landowner relations.
