There is a portal at the Canyon Glen Camp Ground in Provo Canyon. The portal is covered with two big iron doors. Looks like the entrance of a mine, but there is no mine tailings or other distinguishing outside marks. The portal is on the east side of Mt. Timpanogos, just off the bike trail. I would guess the doors are 10 feet tall with gunite on the rock and a fence to keep people from the doors. (And of course it's locked).

I was wondering if anyone knew what this was or had any history behind it?

Thanks
Robert
