My apologies, I am not sure where we are suppose to post trip reports these days.

As a select few of you know my wife and I just returned from our first cruise. It was a cruise that we were lucky enough to qualify for charted by Melaleuca which is our home based business (shameless plug) www.melaleuca.com/friends . It was a great experience.

Our first port we visited was Belize City, Belize. The shore excursion we picked there was the Caves and Jungle tour. It took us on boat ride up a river where we stopped to look for crocidiles (never saw any though) we did spot plenty of Iguanas and some huge fruit bats hanging in the shade of a tree. The boat ride took us to where we traded the boat for some landrovers and drove up to the caves.

I was one of the few that had my dirver liscnese with me so I was lucky enough to get to drive.

My apologies but I dont recall the names for the caves. We saw plenty of bats in the cave, many flying within inches of us. Much to my surprise my wfie did not freak out at all. We also saw the huge cave spiders that you always here Peter Rupliner talk about,

some Myan pottery

I was defintely the best shore excursion of the entire cruise.

I dont see the spell check or a way to upload images??? Will someone help me out with that and I will edit this post to add pictures later.

Trip reports can be posted on the Salt Lake Grotto website. As it stands now, only paid members of any Utah Grotto are able to login and post trips. If you are current member of the Timpanogos Grotto, for example, Richard Downey (the secretary) can set you up a login. If you are not a current member and don't plan to be for whatever reason, you can e-mail your trip report and any associated photos to one of your grotto officers and they can post it for you. Any trips that are posted in this manner will show up on both the Salt Lake Grotto and Timpanogos websites.

Anyway, it looks like you had a great trip. Good to hear from you.

I played with your post for a while and I can't get it to work either. This is the first time anyone has ever tried to link to images on this forum so it probably has never worked. I'll have to research it further.

FYI This is what I tried to do. Got this from the forum FAQ My yahoos photos are public and not behind a password so i thought that would work, but maybe they dont work at all from yahoo photos??

Can I post Images?
Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed).
