Policy for Guiding and/or Training Individuals Groups |
Montgomery Grotto members, friends, and others are welcome to attend grotto trips. However, to be included in any type of TRAINING, the participants must be CURRENT, PAID Montgomery Grotto members. Also, each participant must COMPLETE and SIGN the Montgomery Grotto Release and Indemnity Agreement. The Montgomery Grotto is available to guide groups (i.e., boy scouts, church groups) on caving and other type trips. The Montgomery Grotto may meet with the groups to review cave safety techniques, provide information regarding cave conservation, and review proper cave etiquette. Prior to a caving or other type trip, the group's leader must become a CURRENT, PAID Montgomery Grotto member. The group's leader will be the trip leader and the Montgomery Grotto will assist as a guide only. Also, each participant in the group must COMPLETE and SIGN the Montgomery Grotto Release and Indemnity Agreement. |
