|After a two-year absence, We are excited to announce the return of the The Indiana Cave Symposium. It will be held on April 23, 2022 at the Orange County Community Center, 1075 N Sandy Hook Road in Paoli, Indiana. This event, as usual, will be co-hosted by the Indiana Cave Survey (ICS) and the Indiana Karst Conservancy (IKC). This year we will be requiring RSVP.
A pitch-in meal for those who wish to participate will be at 5:00 PM EDT. The ICS and the IKC will be providing hot dogs, brats, burgers, veggie burgers, cheese, buns, paper plates, plastic ware, napkins, condiments, soft drinks, and ice. Those eating are asked to bring a covered dish, salad, dessert, or other food item to share.

Pre Symposium Field Trip
New this year! The IKC is hosting a field trip in the afternoon, which is by registration only, and is limited to 20 participants. The trip, led by geologists Sarah Burgess and Sam Frushour, will caravan to Wesley Chapel Gulf and Orangeville Rise. They will highlight these unique karst features, including past dye tracing, and share results from some recent studies. The field trip will return to the Orange County Community Building at 4:30 PM EDT. When you RSVP for the symposium and dinner, a registration link for the field trip will be sent at your request.
