Trainer candidates who are applying to be students of the Vertical Training Commission’s trainer course are required to submit a letter of reference. Below are some key prompts and suggestions for writing letters of reference for Vertical Training Commission trainer candidates.

2. How do you evaluate the candidate’s caving, vertical, rigging skills and safety?
3. How do you evaluate the candidate’s instructional, organizational, communication, professionalism, and leadership skills?
4. Provide any examples where the candidate has handled a difficult interpersonal interaction.
5. Describe the candidate’s dedication to serving their community and ongoing involvement.
