In a journey inside the earth, we are introduced to the life and dreams of a Swiss explorer who searches for cave systems and underground rivers in a Colombian region that has been torn apart by an armed conflict for decades. This subterranean labyrinth is a metaphor for an obscure past that he keeps buried deep in his heart in hope that the eternal passing of time will heal the still raw war wounds.
