Western Regional 2025

In the High Sierra many unique marble caves and lots of Sierra scenery await.
The San Joaquin Valley and Mother Lode Grottos welcome you to come camp under big trees, visit some of California’s best recreational caves, and enjoy your time in the mountains hiking, rock climbing, canyoning, or sight-seeing in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park.
The event will be held at the Fir and Cove Group Campsites in Sequoia National Forest. Campsites are limited, but some hotel lodging, individual campsites, and dispersed (free) camping are available nearby. Note: a National Park entrance fee (or annual pass) is required to access this event. Parking is also limited. Please carpool!

Friday night: welcome social
Saturday: program of speakers about caving projects in the Park and other topics, Western Region business meeting, Western Cave Conservancy fundraiser dinner, and campground social
Friday-Sunday: organized and self-led cave trips, hiking, and maybe a popular rope obstacle course?
