Website:
Volunteer (5/hours per month)
We're seeking a volunteer with strong front-end WordPress design skills to support project-based page buildouts to support NSS programs and teams. This role involves working within our WordPress instance (hosted in Plesk) using Beaver Builder, as a WYSIWYG editor, to help various teams publish and maintain aesthetically consistent and professional pages. Individual teams within the NSS can maintain the actual copy/content of those pages. They just need support in making sure page design is professional and in navigating the nuances of WordPress.

You'll use prebuilt templates as well as pages built from the group up to publish content provided by other volunteers. This position emphasizes design quality, layout consistency, and user experience, rather than content maintenance or custom technical development.
  • Experience building and editing pages in WordPress
  • Familiarity with visual builders (especially Beaver Builder)
  • Strong understanding of CSS for refining page styling and responsiveness
  • An eye for layout and responsive design
  • Ability to work within an established style and structure
  • A collaborative attitude and comfort communicating with non-technical teams
