Central Indiana Grotto is a chapter of the National Speleological Society based in Indianapolis, Indiana.  We host the longest running caving festival in the country, Cave Capers.  Our membership is known for exploration, surveying, and recreational caving not only in Indiana, but world-wide!  Visit our Facebook page or stop by a meeting, every caver is welcomed here.  Last updated March of 2026
