Camping and Evening Events
The Cobleskill Fairgrounds, home to the annual Sunshine Fair, will be our tent camping, RV and evening event site throughout the 2025 NSS Convention. We will be using the many facilities here to host the Monday Howdy Party, Wednesday Campground Party, JSS Headquarters, serve as the starting point for Sunday field trips as well as caving trips throughout the week, and hosting many other activities. The fairgrounds is only one mile from SUNY Cobleskill where daytime sessions, the Thursday Photo Salon and other events will take place. The fairgrounds is only a 5-minute walk from central Cobleskill with a variety of dining and entertainment destinations. This ideal location also has over 100 RV sites, all with water and electric and many with full sewer hookups. Buildings and facilities on the site will serve our every need throughout the week. Tent camping is included in your basic registration while the many sites with service will be available by reservation for the 8 days of the convention starting the Friday before through the following Saturday. Prices for full hookup including sewer will be $200 and for the water plus electric sites will be $125 for the duration of the convention. Any preregistered attendee will have access to the campground stating at 5 P.M. on Friday June 20 and checkout is not until noon on Saturday June 28. We can accommodate ANY size RV, trailer or camper. Complete your registration and RV reservations early to guarantee a spot if you want a designated camp site with electricity and water. Basic camping is open for all registrants at no additional charge.
We do have a few firm restrictions due to campground rules and/or village codes: No fires, no firearms, no fireworks and no dogs. Also no tents may be placed under or inside any structure. Thanks for your understanding.
