The caving community of Texas is composed of fearless explorers. Hundreds of feet below the earth’s surface, in tight and dark tunnels, they help provide an illustration of our state that often goes overlooked. Distinguished writer Katy Vine takes us along for the ride in her story “Deep-Very, Very Deep- in the Heart of Texas,” detailing just how curious and courageous these cavers need to be.
