This preliminary archaeological survey was conducted by Indiana University (IU) Anthropology PhD Candidate Pamela Lara Tufiño in Dos Hermanas Cavern (Los Arados, Dominican Republic) on May 20th, 2025. The goal of this project was to contribute to IU’s data on the geographic distribution and material analysis of pre-Columbian ceramics in the Dominican Republic. Pamela is a Research Associate with IU’s Center for Underwater Science, and her project was funded by The Explorers Club and IU’s School of Public Health.
