Exploring Schoharie Cave using an ROV

Produced by Michael Sandone. Schoharie Cave is a well visited beginner cave in upstate New York. At the end of the cave is a sump that was first explored by legendary caver Russell Gurnee over 50 years ago. Although the sump has been well documented and mapped, images from this space are not widely available. Using and ROV (remotely operated underwater vehicle) caver Michael Girard brings the viewer on a visual journey underwater into Schoharie Cave!
