Exploring Wind Cave

NSS Video Salon 2024. Produced by Joshua Sebree & Francesca Soans. Videographers David Hindman and Megan Studer. Exploring Wind Cave explores different areas of the Wind Cave system in South Dakota. The video was shot and edited by a student team, all of whom were novices in caving. The video is part of a series documenting the research being conducted at Wind Cave National Park, exploring the formation of the cave and the extreme life it supports. Funded by NASA and the Iowa Space Grant Consortium, the project is a unique collaboration between the departments of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Biology, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Kinesiology and Athletic Training, and Communication and Media at the University of Northern Iowa.
