20,000 Meters Under the Earth – The Giant Cave’s Mystery

Play Video

Produced by Freddie Röckenhaus. A gripping adventure into a parallel world deep beneath the surface of the Earth. Five explorers take us on an exclusive journey into one of the most challenging caves in the world. Riesending-Cave (the ‘Giant Thing’) is Germany’s largest and best-known shaft caves high in the Bavarian alpine plateau of Untersberg Mountain. The explorers’ mission is clear: find the exit of the cave (if there is one) in this magical world 20,000 meters below ground. The search takes many days through bizarre and extraordinary scenery evoking images from The Lord of the Rings or stories by Jules Verne.
