Dark Discoveries – Finding Caves in the Dominican Republic

Produced by Lukas Eddy. The Dominican Republic has plenty of under – and unexplored regions. Four of us cavers spent a month in-country with survey equipment, machetes, and bee suits looking for underground glory.

We had several incredible discoveries, and more than several encounters with aggressive wasps, killer bees, giant centipedes, and on tarantula in a shower.

This production won a Merit Award in the 2023 NSS Video Salon.
